If the year is 2000 or later, this virus displays the following message:

Your system might be infected by unknown trojan!Please check shutdown your system now!*.com [garbage text]

Due to bugs in the virus, the end of the message is garbled and contains random data from memory.

When this virus is executed, it infects all COM files in the folder that contains the virus and in that folder's parent folders.
